Sierra Leone’s Deputy Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Takes Leave of President Julius Maada Bio

The newly appointed Deputy Ambassador of the Republic of Sierra Leone to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Abdul Aziz Turay, on Thursday 3rd October, 2024, took formal leave of His Excellency, President Dr. Julius Maada Bio at State House.

Among those who took formal leave of His Excellency were the former Ambassador of Sierra Leone to Senegal, who has now been re-assigned to Algeria, Ambassador Alhaji Brima Elvis Koroma, the High Commissioner to the Gambia, Martha Consilia Kanagbo, and the Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, Paul Sobba Massaquoi.

His Excellency President Bio expressed confidence in their proficiency in advancing and strengthening Sierra Leone’s relations with their designated countries and looked forward to their strategic engagements to enhance mutual beneficial outcomes.

On his Facebook page, the Deputy Ambassador of Sierra Leone to Saudi Arabia, Mr. Abdul Aziz Turay, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to President Bio for placing his trust in him.

“Your confidence inspires me to dedicate myself fully
to this role, and I am looking forward to contribute to the diplomatic efforts that will enhance our country’s standing on the international stage,” he said.

Ambassador Aziz Turay pledged to represent his country well to further strengthen the ties between the Republic of Sierra Leone and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
