Sierra Leone Signs Cooperation Agreement with Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Friday, November 10, 2023-

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Timothy Musa Kabba and the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Highness, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, have signed a General Cooperatoon Agreement, aimed at promoting cooperation between the two countries.

The Agreement covers the areas of trade and investment, science and technology; the wider spectrum of economic and social opportunities in the two countries, including education, science, culture, mining, tourism, agriculture, infrastructure, sports, and the economy, among others.

The foreign ministers of the two countries also signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on “political consultations” and affirmed deepening the strong bilateral relations between the two countries’ mutual interests.

Sierra Leone and Saudi Arabia have enjoyed long bilateral relations spanning 42 years.
