Riyadh, Thursday, February 24, 2022-
Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia His Excellency Dr. Ibrahim Jalloh has concluded a follow-up meeting with the Director of African Countries Affairs in the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mohammed Hussain Madani, in which the two discussed issues related to the last visit of Professor David J. Francis, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
In the meeting, Ambassador Madani assured Ambassador Jalloh of the following:
• that Saudi Arabia’s support for Sierra Leone’s Bid for the United Nations Security Council in the Non-Permanent Category for 2024-2025 is on course;
• that plans for the State Visit of His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio to the Kingdom are underway; and
• that the authorities in Saudi Arabia are assiduously working on the opening of the Saudi Embassy in Freetown as soon as possible.
