The Embassy of the Republic of Sierra Leone in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Mr. Abdul Salaam Husein, our esteemed Translator/Interpreter, who dedicated over two decades of service to our mission. Mr. Husein passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, in Ghana.
With profound sorrow, we bid farewell to a committed and respected member of our team. His tireless efforts and expertise greatly contributed to the Embassy’s success in fostering relations between Sierra Leone and Saudi Arabia.
The Ambassador of Sierra Leone to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, His Excellency Mohammed Barrie extends heartfelt condolences to Mr. Husein’s family and loved ones, praying for Allah’s mercy and grant of Jannatu Firdaus. We pray for the strength and resilience of his family to accept this loss.
Abdul Sallam Hussein’s legacy of service and dedication will be deeply missed. May Allah grant him Al-jannatul Firdous
